The gap
You could attach an image to a chat with the design agent. The agent could install an image onto your site. Nothing connected the two.
So "put this logo in the header" ended one of two ways: the agent invented a mark of its own, or it used a link that led nowhere. Both look like success in the conversation and like a broken site in the browser.
What changed
An image you attach in chat can now be installed directly onto your site. Attach it, say where it goes, and the agent puts that file there.
How the agent refers to your images
When more than one image is in play, the agent refers to them by number, and that numbering is fixed rather than improvised:
- Newest message first. The images from your most recent message come before earlier ones.
- Within one message, the order you attached them. First attached is first numbered.
- Numbering starts at 1, and a number outside the range is refused rather than quietly resolved to some other file.
That last point mattered more than it sounds. Without the check, an out-of-range number could land on a real file at the far end of the list and install the wrong image while reporting success.
On scoping
The number you or the agent says only ever resolves against the attachments in that same conversation. It cannot address a file from another conversation or another customer, because the only way to be reachable is to have been attached to that conversation in the first place.
