HexPortal is the account area behind every HexClad site. It is where you create a site, point a domain at it, manage your plan and team, watch your traffic, and hand work to our AI design agents.
This is what the first release shipped with.
Getting a site
- Self-serve site creation. Pick a plan, check out, and your instance is provisioned for you. Most accounts finish in under 60 seconds.
- Guided build for every plan, including free. You answer a short set of questions about your business and the builder assembles the site from that, rather than dropping you into a blank editor.
- Design templates. Our team authors the house looks the builder works from, so a new site starts from a real design instead of a generic theme.
- An AI design brief. Your answers become a written brief the build agent works to, so you can see what it understood before it builds.
Domains, SSL, and uptime
- Custom domains. Attach, change, or remove a domain from the portal. We handle the certificate and the routing.
- Automatic SSL. Issued when the domain attaches. There is nothing to renew and nothing to install.
- The DNS records you need are shown in the portal, so you can copy them straight into your registrar.
Running your site
- Manage my website. One place for your site's status, its settings, and the actions you are allowed to take on it.
- Site access and accounts. Invite your team, manage who can sign in, and set up single sign-on.
- Account and organization settings, plus a settings hub covering AI and API access.
- Site analytics. Privacy-friendly traffic stats on infrastructure we host ourselves. No third-party ad trackers on your site.
Billing
- Plans and invoices in the portal, with your subscription state kept in sync automatically.
- Unlimited users included. We do not charge per seat.
- No contracts and no minimums. Cancel inside the first 7 days and nothing is billed.
The AI plane
- AI agents that can actually work on your site, not just chat about it. Each agent is bound to your instance and nothing else.
- Conversational agents. Describe what you want in plain language.
- You approve before anything changes. An agent proposes the change and waits for you. Nothing edits your live site behind your back.
- Usage you can see. Every plan carries an AI allowance, your usage is visible in the portal, and overage is priced rather than silent.
Support
A real person, on purpose. There is no ticket queue, no severity triage, and no first-response target designed to look good in a report.
What we deliberately did not build
No onboarding consultant. No implementation project. No sales call between you and a working site. If setup needs a meeting, we consider that a product problem rather than yours.
